On Marié’s YouTube page, she updated her frequently asked question of when her album is coming out. Originally, it was set to be released February of 2008, but now it looks like it will be scheduled for release April of 2008.
3. do you have an album out? My album will be coming out early next year, probably april of 08. But I have 4 songs up on iTunes right now !!
This past weekend, the people at YouTube invited Marié over to play at their annual Christmas party! went to San Francisco to meet all the people who work at YouTube. Here’s what she wrote on her YouTube page:

You guys won’t believe where I went over the weekend…..
I flew to San Francisco to meet everyone who works at Youtube !!! I got a phone call a few weeks ago from the people at Youtube, inviting me to play at their annual Christmas Party. It seems as though some other musicians have played for them as well.. including Esmee Denters and Terra Naomi. I was unbelievably flattered that they asked me to come play. What a bunch of nice people ! It is truly incredible how powerful and important Youtube has become in just a short few years. When I began posting videos here, I never imagined how many people I would be able to reach with my music… I know I wouldn’t be in the position that I am right now without YT and all of you who have watched my videos.. so I am very grateful
So anyway.. that visit was definitely a highlight this month.. I also got to play some cool shows in Portland and Cleveland. Thank you to all who came out to see me !
I know I said I’d have something up soon.. I’ve actually tried making a few videos but I haven’t come up with anything I really like yet. I promise I’ll have something by next weekcould be a christmas song, could be a song off of my album..??
Anyway, Christmas is quickly approaching and I haven’t even had a chance to start shopping. Time has really flown by lately.. OH! and I’ll be heading back to Japan for New Years again this year. Can’t wait for thatI also wanted to quickly say again that I appreciate all of your emails so much! I REALLY wish I could write back to all of you.
